How We Work

I’m Hannah Levbarg, the woman behind Liberty Gourmand. I launched in the spring of 2022 and I’m running this on my own, from soup to nuts, as it were.

I ensure that the quality of my food and service remain at the highest levels by scaling carefully and with respect to the capacity of the little ghost kitchen I share with Plantita Vegan Bakery – thank you for supporting this model. (A ghost kitchen is a private commercial kitchen space with a hub for customer collection or delivery, but no public service.)

Offerings include:

Weekly menu: Available by pre-order to collect Wednesday – Saturday. Refer to home page or main ordering page for hours and details.
RESUMES AUTUMN 2023: Savory breakfast/brunch items alongside Plantita Vegan Bakery most 2nd & 4th Saturday mornings at pop-up events outside of our shared unit, typically 10 – 1 – look out for notices and pre-order options;
Custom no-service catering for smaller events, meetings and gatherings, by advance arrangement.

A couple of further things…

I prefer not to receive tips as this is a no-service establishment currently without employees, but the option is available in on-line ordering, and the pre-set tip amounts are based on the pre-tax price – or, customers may leave no tip, or a custom amount.

Much of the packaging we use is compostable (not recyclable), including plastic items. Please check out Reunity Resources for information on getting your used packaging into their community compost or subscribing for residential compost pick-up service if you do not have your own residential composting.
